Dani Boner
Dani Boner, daughter of Ron and Judy, was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Dani went to Mercy High School where she
played volleyball, basketball, and ran track. She graduated with high academic and athletic honors. Dani went on to play
volleyball at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Dani became very familiar with athletic injuries, athletic training,
physical therapy and rehabilitation when she tore her ACL playing volleyball her junior and senior years at Augsburg.
Dani also participated in many clubs at Augsburg including Student Athlete Advisory Committee where she was voted to
attend the NCAA Division III National SAAC Conference. Dani also performed a variety of research projects in the
field of exercise science where she had several articles published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning and
presented at American College of Sports Medicine Conferences. Dani graduated Augsburg College in 2009 earning her
Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science.
Dani has been coaching volleyball for six years now and continues to play club volleyball. Dani currently coaches for
Mercy High School's freshman volleyball team, St. Stephen's 8AAA team, and Premier Volleyball Club. Dani is continuing
her education to receive her doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is also finishing up her NSCA Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist and ACSM Fitness Health Specialist certifications to become a personal trainer.
Dani started working at See the Trainer in August of 2010. She loves the everyday patient interaction and the satisfaction
of helping people return to their normal activity. "I love the variety in my job. I work with great people that always
teach me something new every day. My job is a combination of all my passions: sports, physical therapy, and most of
all - helping people."
When Dani isn't working or coaching, you can find her spending time with family, watching her favorite sports teams,
working out, playing volleyball, and hunting.
