The VertaLux™ is a patient-friendly orthosis that combines a comfortable spacer-fabric front containing a pocket and polymer insert with a controlling rigid shell in back, thus providing plush yet firm support. The posterior shell can be made of either a modified polyethylene (white) for the most aggressive control (VertaLux), or from a soft tri-polymer lamination for softer security (VertaLux Lite™). Either version of the posterior comes standard with a plush, washable tri-lam foam liner. The anterior panel is pre-drilled for attachment of the optional ExtenderTM. The Vertalux provides both coronal and sagittal control. The unisex VertaLux is a modular orthosis - any size front may be combined with any size back, allowing the orthosis to be fit with impeccable precision.
